Congress’ tax bill is tax fraud

Republicans worry about the national debt when Democrats are in office. Democrats worry about it when Republicans are in charge. I tend to be concerned always.

Recessions come and go. To ease the sting, the government must pump money into the economy. But of course that results in deficits, so the trick is to save up money when times are good. Both parties have done the former, but neither has done the latter. So the deficit, and thus the national debt, grow year after year.

During the George W. Bush administration, the deficit grew by 101 percent, slightly more than doubling the debt. President Obama grew the deficit by “only” 68 percent, still a staggering amount. It is now over $20 trillion…
